01 What does NordX actually do?
IT work for government teams and the contractors who support them: infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, networks and endpoints, backup and recovery, cybersecurity, and help desk. When a team needs people rather than a project, we do technical staffing too. Most of what we do comes down to getting a system into good shape and keeping it there.
02 Who do you work with?
Government agencies, primes and their subs, and a few commercial clients with real technical needs. Fit usually comes down to the scope, where the work happens, and whether we can staff it under the contract's security terms. If the answer is no, you'll hear that from us.
03 Are you a certified small business?
We're registered in SAM.gov as a small business and we're service-disabled veteran-owned. SBA VetCert is still in progress. Until that's finalized, we confirm current set-aside eligibility before every proposal rather than assume it.
04 Can you support cleared or classified work?
Only when the pieces are genuinely in place — cleared personnel, an accredited facility, sponsorship, access, and the security terms written into the contract. If any of that is missing, we'll say no before you spend time on a bid that can't work.
05 Which compliance frameworks do you support?
We put technical controls in place and document them for NIST SP 800-171, CMMC readiness, FISMA, and HIPAA environments. What we hand you is the evidence. The authorization and certification decisions themselves belong to your responsible officials.
06 How do I get a quote or proposal?
Tell us the scope, the schedule, where the work happens, any qualifications we'd need to meet, and when you need an answer by. If something's missing that we need to price it properly, we'll come back with questions. The contact page is the place to start.
07 Do you take on subcontract and teaming work?
Yes. We take direct contracts, subcontract under primes, and set up teaming agreements or joint ventures when that's the right structure for the bid. The contracting page has the specifics.
08 Where are you based, and do you travel?
We're in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Whether the work is remote, on-site, or a mix of both depends on the contract, and we pin that down during scoping — so a travel expectation never shows up as a surprise later.
09 How fast will I hear back?
Usually within one business day. And whoever answers will actually understand the technical side of what you're asking about.
